Baked Cabbage with Dill, Apple and Mozzarella
Ingredients
Serves 3 - 4 as a side dish
1 medium head cabbage, quartered
1 onion, chopped
Fresh dill
1/3 cup vegetable broth
1 apple, peeled and chopped
1/3 cup white wine (optional)
3 tbs fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup non-fat mozzarella, shredded
Steps
1. Place cabbage in casserole dish.
2. Top with onion, apples, and cheese.
3. Add broth and wine, if using, in bottom.
4. Cover with foil and bake 30 - 35 minutes at around 350 degrees until cabbage is tender. Avoid over-baking.
5. Add dill and parsley, let sit for a few minutes.
